I got whipped with a really nasty cold a couple weeks ago and ended up splitting my time between catching up on political documentaries and horror movies….kind of redundant viewing I know. Anyways one of those movies I got to revisit was Sam Rami’s awesome Drag Me to Hell. If you like spooky movies I highly encourage you to check it out. For the uninitiated, Sam Rami is most famously know for making horror movies that meld gore and farce in such a way that you sometimes don’t know weather to recoil with terror or break into uproarious laughter. Anyways - I got inspired and decided to sketch up a piece based on Drag me to Hell’s ever present antagonist, the black goat - the Lamia. He is a malevolent demon who hounds the main character at every turn due to a cursed item in her possession, a button. This is another trial run with Procreate where I tried to emulate my analog process digitally.
