Prizefighter Bandana
This was a really fun project for Prizefighter bar in Emeryville, CA. The goal was to tell a story about the bar through illustrated elements of all the brickabrack hanging there in. It was challenging to treat the whole image like a sleeve of flash tattoos that has been laid flat. We decided to try and stay away from the standard imagery of cocktail bars ( shakers, martini glasses, etc ) and opted instead to go with more utilitarian tools of the trade. Icepicks, axes, and tongs are central to the blue collar identity of the bar. When the printing is done, you will be able to buy one here
